Join us for Genre Uncovered, a journey through the history of film, where we look at how some of the key genres have come to shape our understanding, and experience, of film.

Using new releases as a starting point, we’ll look at the styles and conventions of four key genres – action, musicals, horror, sci-fi - and look at films from around the world to see how these have evolved over the years.

This course is for beginners interested in finding out more about film in the company of others. It would also be suitable to support students studying A-Level film studies.
