Mild comic violence, injury detail, rude humour, language

In this historical comedy adventure, an unlikely romance blossoms between Atti the Roman and Orla (Emilia Jones) the Celt, her father (Nick Frost) looks on with concern. Meanwhile, the courageous queen and warrior, Boudica (Kate Nash), is leading an uprising.

The film’s stunning casting enables Derek Jacobi (I, Claudius, Nanny McPhee) to reprise the role of Claudius, whilst drawing together a who’s who of British comic acting (Sanjeev Bhaskar, Lee Mack, Chris Addison, Alexander Armstrong) along with Kim Cattrall as Atti’s mother and Warwick Davies as a gladiator trainer. History is very rarely this horribly hilarious!
