Meet Jojo (Roman Griffin Davis) – a timid, imaginative ten year old boy growing up in Nazi Germany during the Second World War. Indoctrinated into the Hitler Youth he tries his best to be a good Nazi; blindly following the ideals he’s being taught, accompanied by his idiotic, imaginary friend Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi).
When Jojo discovers his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic – his world is flipped upside down and he begins questioning everything he’s been made to believe.
