The 25th instalment in the James Bond series has been marred by creative differences, change of director and a worldwide pandemic. But, it’s finally here!

Cary Joji Fukunaga

This is widely rumoured to be Daniel Craig’s last venture as 007, promising to tie up narratives and “come to an emotionally satisfying conclusion.” Reprised roles from Naomie Harris (Moonlight, 28 Days Later), Ralph Fiennes (The English Patient, In Bruges) and Christopher Waltz (Inglourious Basterds, Kopfstand) make it a star-studded cast.

Rami Malek, fresh off his oscar winning turn in Bohemian Rhapsody, plays the new villian, Safin, in 007’s way, and he promises to be Bond’s most dangerous encounter yet.

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, (TV’s True Detective & writer of 2017’s Stephen King adaption It), it is the first James Bond film to be in the official selection at a festival, where it will screen at the 17th Zurich Film Festival on the same day as its worldwide release.
