Bookings for Afternoon Tea will close on Friday at 5pm.
Gene Kelly (On the Town, Hello Dolly, The Pirate) stars in, and co-directs with Stanley Donen (Funny Face, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers), a picture that skilfully combines intelligence and wit to portray the beginning of the end of the silent film era.
Silent film star Don Lockwood (Kelly) alongside his on-screen romantic partner Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen) are forced by their production company to adjust to making their first talking picture.
During the process Don falls for chorus girl Kathy (Debbie Reynolds) but faces interference from the jealous and delusional Lina.
Featuring well known numbers including “Good Morning”, “Make ‘Em Laugh” and of course its title song “Singin’ in the Rain”, this classic is one of the most cherished and iconic musicals of all time.
For £30 (£35 with a glass of prosecco) you can enjoy your afternoon tea in our Coffee Rooms before we head over to the Circle Seats in the impressive Classic cinema screen to watch this wonderful film in comfort. Afternoon Tea begins at 1.30pm with Singing In The Rain starting at 3pm.
