Moderate fantasy violence, mild threat, injury detail, innuendo

Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) is just a typical teenager – dealing with the trials of high-school life, and the newfound stress of parental embarassment. That is, until he’s bitten by a radioactive spider, and becomes the iconic Spider-Man!

When the evil Kingpin (Liev Schreiber) meddles with volatile collider technology, reality is torn and only Spider-Man can stop him – with fan-pleasing assistance from an array of versions of the webhead from the vast mutiverse, including a dishevelled Peter B Parker (Jake Johnston), the spirited Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) and the Looney Tunes-esque porcine, Spider-Ham (John Mulaney).

This stunning Marvel animation is an absolute visual treat, with an incredibly stylised aesthetic making for one of the most memorable films in the history of comic-book cinema. A spectacular love letter to the Spider-Man comics from the ingeneous minds of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street).
