moderate violence, threat, discrimination, infrequent strong language

Tyler Nilson, Mike Schwartz

This heartfelt, feel-good drama draws on Mark Twain style adventure stories to weave a sprawling, effortlessly charming buddy movie.

Zak (Zack Gottsagen) is a restless 22 year old with Down’s syndrome, who runs away from his residential nursing home to pursue his dream of attending wrestling school. On the road, he becomes unlikely pals with Tyler (Shia LaBeouf) a small town outlaw on the run, who becomes Zak’s coach and ally.

Sweet and highly enjoyable, the film is notable for its positive depiction of a character with Down’s syndrome, played by a disabled actor, who is already being tipped for awards for his compelling performance.
