Join us for a hilarious double-bill of 90s pop culture following Wayne (Mike Myers, in his feature film debut) and Garth (Dana Carvey), the hosts of Wayne’s World, a public-access TV show filmed from Wayne’s parents’ basement.
While spending most of their free time partying and desperately trying to impress Cassandra Wong (Tia Carrare), the lead vocalist of local rock band Crucial Taunt, Wayne and Garth find themselves wooed by sleazy TV producer Benjamin (Rob Lowe, Parks and Rec) into selling the rights to their show. Thrust into the high-flying world of promotional interviews, professional studios and corporate sponsors, Wayne and Garth’s friendship – and Wayne’s chances with Cassandra – are thrown into jeopardy.
In Wayne’s World 2, propelled by a dream in which Jim Morrison convinces Wayne that his destiny is to organize a major music festival, the duo set out to create their first ever concert, Waynestock – all while Garth is being manipulated by the glamorous Honey Hornée (former Bond girl Kim Basinger) into killing her ex-husband.
With a host of cameos including Christopher Walken, Alice Cooper and Meat Loaf, and some of the most re-quoted lines in cinema history, this double-bill of cult classic comedy is a must-see this summer.
