Young pop star Mira (Junko Iwao) makes the momentous decision to leave J-pop group CHAM! in the pursuit of an acting career. But she soon discovers the dark underbelly of the industry; plagued by paranoia, Mira starts to lose grip on reality as fact and fiction begin to blur. Haunted by the ghost of her past in reflections claiming to be ‘the real Mira’, her dream career spirals into a waking nightmare.

Drawing comparisons to the twisting cinema of Alfred Hitchcock, this masterful, hauntingly disturbing thriller marked the incredible directorial feature debut of the late prolific animator Satoshi Kon.
