When grief-stricken novelist Ohm Bauman (Adam Scott) travels to a remote corner of Ireland to scatter his parents’ ashes, he stumbles into something far older and far darker than mourning.

The inn’s staff speak of a witch haunting the honeymoon suite. Ohm dismisses it, until the visions begin, and someone vanishes without a trace.

Written and directed by Damian McCarthy, Hokum is folk horror storytelling at its best.
