We’re spreading festive cheer with our annual programme of Christmas favourites; from treasured classics like The Bishop’s Wife, Die Hard and Home Alone, to alternative festive gems including The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Carol and All That Heaven Allows, through to cult highlights including National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story and Gremlins.

We mustn’t forget, of course, our Tyneside Cinema family tradition of Frank Capra’s timeless It’s a Wonderful Life – Christmas simply wouldn’t be the same without it.
