A black cat takes refuge in an empty home, now conspicuously absent of humanity. But their tranquil life is soon disturbed by a flood which ravages the deserted landscape, narrowly surviving by boarding a boat carrying a languid capybara.

Voyaging through the flow of the flooded forest and nearby city, their ark is soon boarded by an excitable golden retriever, a hoarding lemur and a proudly independent secretarybird. Becoming a found family, the animals band together as they encounter both peril and beauty across the breathtaking journey.

As emotionally profound as it is visually mesmerising, this dialogue-free voyage explores powerful themes of the environment, displacement and the culturally enriching experience of co-existence through the gorgeously realised perspective of a found family of animals.

Nominated both for Best Animated Feature and Best International Film at the Oscars this year, Flow is an instant classic for the whole family to enjoy.
