Team Choice is our season celebrating our team and the films they hold close. Expect picks across a wide mix of genres, countries and decades - these are the films we return to, and we’d love to share them with you.

Across the year, we’ll be screening staff picks – from cult classics to hidden gems – chosen by the people who keep The Tyneside running. Each film comes with a personal touch: an intro, a blog, or simply the passion behind the pick. Whether they’re stocking popcorn, shaking up a cocktail, curating our programme, or doing any of the many things that keep our doors open, one thing unites everyone who works here: a deep love for cinema. These are the films we return to, and we’re excited to share them with you.
