To celebrate the milestone anniversary of John Hughes’ definitive 1980s comedy masterpiece, we invite you to shake it up, baby, with an exclusive screening of the film back on the big screen where it belongs. Follow Matthew Broderick’s effortlessly charming rebel as he orchestrates the ultimate day off in Chicago alongside Sloane, Cameron, and a borrowed vintage Ferrari.


Beyond giving you the chance to revisit the iconic fourth-wall breaks and endlessly quotable script, the special event on 7th July features an exclusive, in-person Q&A with John Hughes’ longtime music supervisor (including on Uncle Buck & Planes, Trains and Automobiles) Tarquin Gotch.

The story of the iconic electronic music group Yello and the phenomenon of their 1980s hit ‘Oh Yeah’, made famous by Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, its cultural impact, and enduring place in the American psyche. From Swiss avant-garde roots to US pop culture, two artists crafted a song that became a cultural touchstone.
