Lilo (Maia Kealoha) – raised by her big sister Nani (Sydney Elizebeth Agudong) – wishes on a star for a best friend to arrive and transform her life forever. Her wish is granted, crash-landing in the form of the mischievous alien experiment 626, who is on the run from the United Galactic Federation for his interplanetary destruction. Hot in pursuit are his scientist creator Jumba (Zack Galifianakis) and his anxious sidekick Pleakley (Billy Magnussen) – but soon find that Stitch may have found a family of his very own…

2002’s Lilo & Stitch became an instant animated classic, and this live-action reimagining from director Dean Fleischer Camp (Marcel the Shell with Shoes On) retains the heart, humour, and moving familial message to make this an absolute treat for the whole family. Welcome Stitch into your Ohana this summer at The Tyneside!
