Determined to prove his worth to his family, the court, and the kingdom, Sir Gawain (Dev Patel, Slumdog Millionaire) embarks upon a perilous journey to confront the Green Knight – a powerful tree-like giant with a thirst for his blood.

Encountering all manner of mythical beasts and strange characters along the way, the brave warrior’s quest to defeat his mysterious nemesis is beset with challenges that only a true knight can overcome.

Based on the late 14th century poem, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, this fantastically surreal film is loaded with references that prove Lowery’s love of Arthurian myth and his artistic confidence in adapting it.
Brought to life by Andrew Droz Palermo’s distinctive cinematography and a whole host of impressive visual and special effects, The Green Knight is an adventure tailor-made for the big screen experience.
