Take a step back into the Tyneside Cinema’s past with this beautiful print, showing the front of the cinema as it once was back in our News Theatre days. As the last operational Newsreel cinema in the country that still operates as a cinema full time, it’s only fitting we celebrate our illustrious heritage.

Lift Out of Action

Unfortunately our lift is currently out of action and awaiting repairs. Access to all screens requires the use of stairs. We have step-free access to the Box Office, the Bar Cafe and Vicolo. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
