Young, repentant and devoted priest Fr. Jud Duplenticy (Josh O’Connor) finds himself assigned to the devout parish of Chimney Rock, presided over by its resolutely outspoken custodian Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin).

But when a shocking murder takes place in the sacristy during service, local law enforcement, led by no-nonsense Chief Geraldine Scott (Mila Kunis), draft in the only man for the job…enter Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig).

Rian Johnson returns to the genre he redefined for a whole new generation with 2019’s Knives Out and 2022’s Glass Onion, this time drawing upon the atmospheric Southern Gothic flavours of Edgar Allan Poe for this whip-smart faith-driven whodunit.

Avoid all spoilers and solve the gripping mystery alongside Craig and a scene-stealing O’Connor, who are joined by a stupendous ensemble which includes Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, Jeremy Renner and the aptly-named Thomas Hayden Church.
