The original nouvelle vague masterpiece, Jean-Luc Godard’s Breathless (À bout de souffle, 1960). Marking the arrival of one of France’s most influential directors, the classic is an inspiration to this day – swaying cinema stalwarts like Quentin Tarantino, Tony Scott and Terrence Malick.

The iconic film stars the mesmerising duo Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean Seberg and highlights life, youth and freedom with boundary-breaking filmmaking and ultra-cool costume and design.
