High-aspiring student Oliver (Barry Keoghan, The Banshees of Inisherin) is struggling to fit in at Oxford University; his social circle comprising solely of his distinctly deadpan friend Michael (Ewan Mitchell, High Life). But Oliver’s fortunes change upon striking up a bond with the magnetic handsome aristocrat Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi, Priscilla), who invites Oliver to stay in the grandiose surroundings of his family’s estate for the summer. Developing a thirst for living as one of the one percent club, Oliver becomes embroiled in the high society lifestyle – but the dream retreat soon proves itself to be a nightmare.

Featuring a first-class supporting class, including a scene-stealing Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl), an unrecognisable Carey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman), and a resplendent Richard E Grant (Withnail & I), this twisting thriller from the ingenious mind of Emerald Fennell (Killing Eve) is a gleefully provocative country escape gone awry.
