Two Jedi Knights – Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi – escape a hostile blockade in search of allies and come across a young Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd) on the desert planet of Tatooine. On an interplanetary mission to protect Queen Padmé Amidala (Natalie Portman), the two must now become custodians to the young padawan who is said to bring balance to the force.
