Framed through a series of interviews conducted by Mike Faist’s (Challengers) journalist Danny with star player Jodie Comer (Prima Facie) as Kathy, The Bikeriders details the story of Austin Butler’s (Elvis) James Dean-channeling Benny, as he becomes a part of a biking brotherhood in Chicago. Whilst Benny fast becomes a protégé to Hardy’s imposing Johnny and finds his steadfast true love with Jodie Comer’s Kathy, the gang’s stronghold over the local community is soon put in contention, as membership in their once-controlled motorcycle club spirals violently out of control…

With universally impressive performances and an Easy Rider style, effortlessly cool attitude permeating every frame, this gripping, innately tragic story of fraternal bonds and living on the edge from director Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter, Midnight Special) is an atmospherically crafted chronicling of Midwestern Americana – evocatively based on a 1967 photobook of the perilous lives of a real-life biker gang.
