Step into a new dimension of storytelling with a series of award-winning immersive experiences as part of Tyneside Cinema’s End/Future programme. What impact might you have on the world’s oldest rainforest by the end of the century? How does it feel to be under imminent nuclear attack? What if your best chance of survival was to upload your memories to an AI and reconnect with your loved ones? These are some of questions asked by the three stunning VR works presented here for the first time in the region.
The award-winning VR film To Miss The Ending was commissioned by Tyneside Cinema in 2020 and went on to screen at the Sundance Film Festival in 2021.
In order to avoid long wait times, we recommend you reserve a time slot. All timeslots are 60 minutes long to allow for the on-boarding and off-boarding of viewers. Walk-ins are welcomed, but we cannot guarantee viewing.
