Uptight marketing executive Neal Page (Steve Martin, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) is desperate to get out of New York and home to his family in Chicago in time for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately for him, luck is not on his side this holiday season – but loquacious shower curtain salesman Del Griffith (John Candy, Uncle Buck) is most certainly by his side, incessantly, during the three-day misadventure which ensues as the two continue their increasingly farcical journey home.
