After 20 years away, Odysseus (Ralph Fiennes, Conclave) washes up on the shores of Ithaca, haggard and unrecognisable. Back home, his wife Penelope (Juliette Binoche, The Taste of Things) is hounded by her many ambitious suitors to choose a new husband and king, and his son Telemachus (Charlie Plummer, Lean on Pete) faces death at their very hands.

Scarred by his experience of war, Odysseus is no longer the mighty warrior his people remember, and yet, he must face his past to win back the love he has lost.
