An Unfinished Film

January 2020. A film crew reunites near Wuhan to resume the shooting of a film halted ten years earlier, only to share the unexpected challenges as cities are placed under lockdown, in Ye Lou's extraordinary, evocative docufiction journey.

The special screening of this remarkable film on Sat 10th May will be preceded by an introduction from Dr. Lydia Wu, NUAcT fellow in Culture and Creative Arts from Newcastle University.

Screenings from Sun 11th May onwards, excluding Tue 13th May's subtitled screening, will be preceded by a recorded introduction by Yixiang Shirley Lin, co-founder and Lead Curator of MINT Chinese Film Festival.
