Contemplative, shy office worker Fran (Daisy Ridley, Star Wars) likes to think about dying. It brings sensation to her quiet life. When she makes new guy at work Robert (Dave Merheje, Ramy) laugh, it leads to more: a date, a slice of pie, a conversation, a spark. The only thing standing in their way is Fran herself.

This poetic refelection on lonliness and finding connection is centred around an extraordinary lead performance from Daisy Ridley as she tackles the quiet multitudes of Fran – a timid young woman who escapes into strangely affirming, vivid daydreams of her own demise.

Meditative and understated, the endearing relationship which develops in stark opposition to the drab and dreary pull of office life and daily routine proves as turbulent as it is fulfilling for the spreadsheet-savvy introvert.
