Christmas at Tyneside Cinema wouldn’t be the same without Frank Capra’s It’s a Wonderful Life warming the hearts of everyone who comes through our doors. In the Winter of 1983, the cinema played a collection of Classic films called Mr. Capra Comes to Town, titled as a nod to the director’s film Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, and featuring a drawing of the one and only James Stewart.  Designed by R.L. Barnes.

Unfortunately our lift is currently out of action and awaiting repairs. Access to all screens requires the use of stairs.
