In December 1985, Tyneside Cinema hosted the North East premiere of Argentinian historical drama The Official Version. The highly regarded film went on to be the first Latin American film to with the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. This poster was designed to promote the film’s short run here at the Tyneside 40 years ago.
