A new addition in 2023 and already a beloved fixture of our annual Christmas programme, Alternative Christmas returns for 2026 with another fantastic selection of leftfield festive films from around the world.

These films screen as part of our magically festive Christmas programme.

This selection of yuletide gems are either the perfect compliment to more traditional festive fair, or offer a fresh experience for those who may have seen the standard classics one too many times!

All of these films are either set at Christmas or have a clearly festive setting or feel, and we think they make great additions to our December lineup. We hope you enjoy them!
