A monthly film club with Zeytoun Arts Collective showcasing the beauty of Palestinian cinema through curated screenings, filmmaker Q&As, and serving authentic Palestinian food.

Palestine on Screen is a monthly film series curated by Zeytoun Arts Collective in collaboration with Tyneside Cinema. The series brings together fiction, documentary, and experimental films by Palestinian filmmakers working both within Palestine and across the diaspora.

These works explore themes ranging from everyday life under occupation, displacement and exile, family, love, humour, and survival.

At the heart of our programme is a commitment to context and conversation. Screenings will be accompanied by filmmaker Q&As, guest speakers, and community-led discussions which will create a space for reflection and dialogue. The programme celebrates Palestinian culture beyond the screen, offering an authentic Palestinian meal following our screenings.

Palestine on Screen uses cinema as a tool for connection, solidarity, and collective engagement.

Lift Out of Action

Our Lift is currently out of order due to a technical issue. Our Box Office, Bar Café and Vicolo all have step-free access, but access to all screens requires the use of stairs. We are working to rectify this issue as quickly as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.
